Black Lab Puppy Raises Big Bucks for Near and Far Aid

One of our Smiling Dog Puppy PhD graduates recently helped raise $7500 for a great local charity, Near and Far Aid (www.nearandfaraid.org).  The big Spring Gala event was held at Mitchell’s of Westport, the finest clothing store in America. Tank was a model citizen at the event. I have been officially notified by the Guiness Book of Record people that Tank set a new record for most belly rubs in a two hour period. I was merely the chopped liver standing next to him all night. While he was perfect most of the evening, he did pee on the carpet in the ladies shoe department (shhhhhh!). I have now had my puppies pee on the floor of the beautiful  Ritz hotel in White Plains, the lovely Greenwich Hotel and now the finest clothing store in America. I’ve got my eye on the White House next… I can dream, can’t I!
